Dhamdhama Anchalik College was established in 1988 through the initiative of enthusiastic people of the locality. It was a long cherished dream to provide higher education opportunities to the people of this remote area.

For more than 25 years, the institution has been serving economically backward communities, especially SC and ST students, and has contributed significantly to the academic and cultural development of Nalbari District.
