Considering the necessity and scope of the subject,the college had established the Department of Philosophy in the year 1989,while received permission of Major courses from G.U. in 2021.The Department has been running with the students having Major in Philosophy who had showed a productive result in our College. It provides the direction to the students for 'Love of Wisdom.'
The vision of Philosophy Department is to make all round development of the students through qualitative approach. Basically it includes career related extra curricular activities to promote the students quality in educational as well as practical fields so that they can prove themselves as an asset.
The Department of Philosophy of Dhamdhama Anchalik college provides integrated education to the students.The Department encourages the student to approach education as a life long learning process and also provides the spiritual learning through ethics.Besides the Department initiates the learning techniques through philosophical method and enhance the mental power of the students to overcome the critical situation.It also urges to make them responsible for the society.
