Message from the Governing Body President

Assam is a predominantly rural State with more than 80% of its population living in rural areas. At the same time, it is among the fastest developing State economies of the country.

The human resource base of Assam predominantly comes from its hinterland. In this context, the role of a college in a rural area becomes very important.

Dhamdhama Anchalik College has an important role to play in contributing towards the growth of Baksa district, Nalbari district and Assam as a whole. The institution cannot merely confine itself to education but must create human resources capable of critical thinking and commitment towards society.

The New Education Policy 2020 emphasizes holistic education. Teachers, students and society must work together to promote value-based education and contribute towards realizing the vision of becoming "Viswa Guru".

It will be our responsibility to facilitate this qualitative transformation in our approach and continue working towards excellence in the years ahead.
